Atmodaya Abhiyan
- Route No. 1:- Amba, Erka, Dhanibar, Jagan Bigha.
- Route No. 2:- Deo, Earki, Ketaki, Dosma, Cheta Bigha.
- Route No. 3:- War, Pahadpura, Mahuari, Madanpur.
- Route No. 4:- Charan bazar, Mahuari, Lahiyarpur, Sirish More, Haibaspur.
- Plantation was also done inside the campus
Plantation drive was also taken to the rocky and Naxal affected areas of Madanpur as well. With the guidance of ASP Abhiyan Aurangabad the Plantation drive was carried out under the joint aegis of 205 Cobra Corps, 47th Battalion CRPF, forest Department. In this DFO Shri Tejas Jaiswal of Aurangabad, ASP campaign Mukesh Kumar, Assistant Commandent Ayush Kumar were present.
(C) ONE CHILD ONE PLANT CAMPAIGN- To commemorate the 3rd Anniversary of NEP-2020, a sensitization campaign was held in our school on several environmental concerns such as energy conservation, wastage of food at social gatherings, hazards of electronic waste, conservation of petroleum products, plastic pollution, etc.
Fit India Week
The school enthusiastically celebrated Fit India Week with a series of engaging activities aimed at promoting physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle among students. The event witnessed active participation from both students and staff.
Day-wise Activities:
Monday – FIT INDIA WEEK Kick-off: The week commenced with a school-wide sports activities, encouraging students to complete a set of physical activities. This set the tone for the upcoming days and fostered a sense of friendly competition. On Monday competitions mainly focused primary section students with games like 20 mt race, jalebi race, chocolate race, shape jump etc.
Tuesday - Inter-class Fitness Relay: The highlight of the week was the inter-class fitness relay and other sports actvities. Teams competed in a variety of relay races like 100 mtr race, spoon race, 3 leg race, sack race, long jump, high jump etc. showcasing their agility, speed, and teamwork. The event promoted a spirit of healthy competition and camaraderie.
Wednesday - The school grounds buzzed with energy as students engaged in various sports activities. From traditional games to modern sports, the day aimed to ignite a passion for physical activity and teamwork. Mainly organised for senior classes, Volleyball, Badminton and Tug of War competitions marked the day with equally energetic student audience to celebrate sportsmanship.
Thursday - Yoga and Meditation Session and other indoor sports activities: Recognizing the significance of mental well-being, a yoga and meditation session was conducted. Students learned basic yoga poses and relaxation techniques to manage stress and enhance overall mental health. Apart from these, another set of students participated in various indoor sports activities like Carom and Chess.
Conclusion: The Fit India Week celebration at Vivekanand VIP School successfully emphasized the importance of physical fitness, sports, Yoga, and mental well-being. Students actively participated in the diverse range of activities, fostering a culture of holistic health within the school. The event not only promoted a sense of unity but also instilled lasting habits for a healthier lifestyle among the students.
Celebration Of Poshan Pakhwada
Our school celebrated Poshan Pakhwada, a campaign focused on nutrition and health. The three day long campaign through various phases aimed to promote awareness about the importance of nutrition, healthy eating habits, and overall well-being among students, teachers, and staff.
Key Highlights of the campaign included-
- Nutrition Awareness Sessions: Expert talks and interactive sessions were conducted by science teacher to educate students about the benefits of balanced diets, malnutrition, and healthy eating habits. Some projects related to health and hygiene were discussed. Hunger index was also explained so that students can understand the value of food and
- Local and Traditional Food Festival: Students of class 7A and 7B showcased traditional indigenous and nutritious food items of Bihar, promoting local as well as seasonal food items. The students explained the nutrition value of the food items on display as well explained the cultural and festive importance of various food items. Food items presented were- Litti Choka, Sattu Paratha, Dal Puri, Kheer, Gurama, Aamjhora, Charauri, Chips, Tissi Paratha, Dahi Vada, Dal Pitthi etc.
- Poster Making: Students expressed their creativity and knowledge on nutrition-related themes that were part of the food festival done by students of class 7.
What we gained from the campaign-
- Increased Awareness: Students gained a deeper understanding of nutrition and its impact on overall health, so that they can adopt healthier eating habits.
- Community Engagement: The event fostered a sense of community, with students, teachers, and parents working together to promote nutrition and health. Parents participated in preparing various indigenous food items for their ward to be presented during food festival.
Our take on the Campaign-
The Poshan Pakhwada celebration in our school was a great success, empowering students with knowledge and skills to make informed choices about their health and nutrition. Students had great fun during the campaign. We look forward to continuing this initiative and promoting a culture of wellness in our school community.
Cybersecurity Awareness Workshop
A Cybersecurity Awareness Workshop was successfully conducted for our students and teachers under Cyber Peace Keepers Programme of NITI Aayog, Atal Innovation Mission and CISCO in collaboration with the Peace Foundation to educate students and faculty about the importance of online safety, responsible digital practices, and protection against cyber threats. The workshop aimed to empower participants with practical knowledge and tools to navigate the digital world securely. The session was conducted by Nitin Pandey, National Cybersecurity Professional.
Objectives
- To raise awareness about common cyber threats such as phishing, malware, and identity theft.
- To promote safe online behaviour and responsible use of social media.
- To provide hands-on guidance on securing personal devices and data.
- To encourage a culture of digital responsibility and resilience within the school community.
Key Highlights
- Expert Sessions: Cybersecurity professionals from the Peace Foundation delivered interactive lectures on topics like password hygiene, safe browsing, deep fake, photo morphing and recognizing online scams.
- Demonstrations: Live demonstrations showcased how hackers exploit vulnerabilities and how individuals can protect themselves.
Outcome & Conclusion
The Cybersecurity Awareness Workshop proved to be a valuable initiative in fostering a safe and responsible digital environment. The collaboration with Peace Foundation not only enriched the learning experience but also highlighted the importance of collective efforts in addressing cyber challenges.
